[特写] 新巴菲特传记的背后故事-华尔街日报：今秋最值得期待的图书之一要属《滚雪球：沃伦·巴菲特和他的财富人生》(The Snowball: Warren Buffett and the Business of Life)。该书的出版商Bantam花720万美元买下了北美区版权，期待这本9月29日上市的传记能卖出100多万册精装本。书名来源于据称是巴菲特曾说过的一句话：“人生就像滚雪球，重要的是找到很湿的雪和很长的坡。” （'Life is like a snowball. The important thing is finding wet snow and a really long hill'）作者施罗德在谈到巴菲特时说：“人们把他分割成细小的角色切片：投资人、公司经理，等等。我认为，这个人用一种统一的方式看待一切事情。这是一整套的理念。正确的书应该回答这样一个问题：生活中的什么事件造就了这个男人并影响了他？” （'People were beginning to slice him into tiny bits: investor, corporate manager, whatever.
